Powerful 750W Sound with Deep Bass
Experience powerful audio with up to 750W total system power. The included wireless 10-inch (260mm) subwoofer delivers deep, punchy bass that adds impact to explosions, action scenes, music and gaming.
Dolby Atmos & DTS Virtual:
Experience immersive 3D sound with Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual. These technologies create a more spacious soundstage, making effects feel as though they are coming from different directions including above you for compatible content.
JBL Multi Beam 3.0
Multi Beam 3.0 creates a wide, cinema-like soundstage that fills your room. It helps deliver immersive and realistic audio across your listening area, so you can enjoy an engaging experience from different seating positions.
Clear Dialogue with Pure Voice 2.0
Never miss important dialogue. JBL Pure Voice 2.0 automatically optimizes voices based on the scene and soundbar volume, helping dialogue remain clear and consistent even during loud action sequences.
Smart Details Technology
Hear subtle details that can easily get lost in a movie's soundtrack. Smart Details enhances quiet and background sounds, allowing you to experience details such as distant voices, environmental effects and small sounds with greater clarity.
Wireless 10-Inch Subwoofer
The included wireless subwoofer eliminates the need for a wired connection between the soundbar and subwoofer. Its large 10-inch driver produces powerful low-frequency performance for a more exciting home theater experience.
Easy Sound Calibration
Every room has different acoustics. The BAR 500MK2 analyzes how sound reflects from your walls and furniture and automatically calibrates the system to provide optimized surround effects for your particular room.
JBL ONE App
Use the JBL ONE App to set up and customize your soundbar. Adjust the equalizer, access compatible music services and install software updates directly from your smartphone.
Music Streaming & Wireless Connectivity
Stream your favorite music and podcasts through multiple platforms, including AirPlay, Google Cast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon Ready. Bluetooth 5.3 also allows convenient wireless streaming from compatible devices.
HDMI eARC & 4K Video
Connect your compatible TV through HDMI eARC for high-quality audio, including uncompressed Dolby Atmos. The HDMI input supports 4K video passthrough, while HDR passthrough supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
Voice Assistant Compatibility
Connect the BAR 500MK2 with compatible voice assistant-enabled speakers and control your music hands-free using supported Google Assistant or Siri devices.
Energy-Efficient Deep Sleep Mode
When not in use, the BAR 500MK2 can enter Deep Sleep mode and consumes less than 1W of power in standby, helping reduce unnecessary energy consumption.
Premium & More Sustainable Design
The BAR 500MK2 incorporates post-consumer recycled plastic and recycled aluminum in selected components and uses FSC-certified paper packaging printed with soy ink.
